The Maker Station Massacre 1

ARC events use lightly modified SPARC rules for tournament, build, and match rules. ARC uses Damage and Engagement judging criteria which can be found via the event site.

6ft x 6ft with a single 18in wide pushout located along one wall.

9:30 AM – Check-ins and inspection

11:00 AM – Tournament Start

12:00 PM – Lunch Break

12:30 PM – Fights resume

Format

3 minute matches in a modified double elimination (No rematch if elimination bracket bot beats undefeated bot in the grand final) bracket.

Modifications to standard SPARC rules and selected options

All robots must fit through the pushout (18″ square opening)

Exposed lipo batteries will result in immediate fight stoppage

Unsticks will only occur if opposing robots are stuck together

Beyond that, this event uses the standard 2023 SPARC rules. This means the permitted materials are: PET, PETG, ABS, PLA, and PLA+.

Additional Notes

While the official tournament will be for plastic ants, feel free to bring along bots up to 3lbs for testing/demos and bots larger than 3lbs if you want to display them.
