Maker Faire Philadelphia's 2nd Combat Robotics competition

Hosting 1lb Plastic Ant & 150g Fairyweights

Rules:

SPARC regulations:

     - No fire weapons!

     - Referee ruling is final 

     - PLANT: only PLA/PLA+/ABS, only drivetrain components can be TPU (where it doesn't act as body armor), battery/battery wire exposure results in automatic forfeit

     - Matches will be 2 minutes long, one unstick per match, one match delay (max 15 minutes) per tournament, test box available (no testing weapons outside box/arena or will lead to disqualification)

     - Arena will be 4x4x2 feet, 1/4" PC panels, kick plate, with steel floor (No magnets)

     - Registration begins Feb 28th at noon

Entry Limits: One driver per bot, no more than 2 bots per class/team. 16 teams total for PLANT (if we have more we will increase)

Registration: $25 per bot, payment due on site (please bring cash)

Event Passes: Each team is allocated 2 passes to the whole event, free parking for whole day available if you come early before 9AM

 

Schedule:

Sunday April 19th

8:30AM to 9:30AM: Safety inspection (if you plan to arrive the day before or are in the area, we may open up a time slot if there is enough demand)

9:45AM: Driver's meeting

10AM to 12PM: Fight Robots Fight

12PM to 1PM: Lunch break

1PM to 3PM: Fight Robots Fight
